Currently you can create Firms from AP and AR by using the Initialize Customers/Vendors within PM Firms. What this does is add the AR/AP Contact Name, Phone, Fax and Email from the Customer/Vendor Master, however, this information cannot be used since VP requires a PM Firm Contact be assigned to that PM Firm in order to email them.
Instead of filling in the Email address and Name on the PM Firm form, which can't be used in PM, auto-create a PM Firm Contact if the record has a AR/AP Contact name (and use the Phone, Fax and Email if it exists). Many contacts on AP/AR records are also contacts we may need to send PCO's, RFIs etc, so having them as a contact, versus info on a form we can't use, would be more beneficial.
If this is not an option most customers want, them have a checkbox on the PM Company Parameters called "Auto-Add PM Firm Contact with Firm" or something like that. We need this in Vista and NOT Team as we won't be using that and our Accounting users are the only ones that can Initialize Vendors/Customers.
