This would be very beneficial to see the techs in vertical view not a horizontal view. This will make it easier to see all the techs in one view depending on the number of techs you have. It will also allow the viewer to see all jobs on that tech board for that given time or date range. The current view does not allow us to see multiple calls unless we click the drop down arrow. This is not an efficient way to run the board. We also display our dispatch board on multiple TV screens and with the horizontal view we may not be able to do this now. I attached an example dispatch board.

I agree it must be optional
Overall I think the dispatch board could use a real work-over in terms of usage of screen real estate. As long as this horizontal/vertical setup was an option, I think it would be handy!
It would beneficial if this was a adjustable setting that way users that prefer the horizontal view can leave it that way and users that wish to change can change.
