We have cases where one of the SM Cost Types is taxable in one state, but not another state. In these cases too, another SM Cost Type has the same taxability in both states. Some of these states I've listed below. The issue is that the SM Cost Type can only be setup as Taxable or Not. There should be an override at the SM Service Site level that will override any one of the SM Cost Type Tax types that have been setup.
Some examples where this is the case is:
Missouri vs. Kansas (Kansas taxes labor and material, Missouri only taxes material)
Iowa vs. Illinois (Iowa taxes labor and material, Illinois only taxes material)
