DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM

Changing the tax code on an Interfaced JB Bill, the original trans zeros out all amounts on the AR Sales Tax report for the old tax code and in SQL (ARTL). The original transaction now also displays in the new tax code, along with two transactions (removing and then adding the change)

CURRENT RESULTS

After Re-Interfacing the changed JB Bill, the AR Sales Tax report for the old tax code shows the original transaction but the dollar amount is now 0. Print the report for the new tax code and you will now see the original transaction with the dollar amount, AND also 2 more transactions - 1 reverses the first transaction and the 2nd puts the new amount in that tax code.

EXPECTED RESULTS

When the JB Bill is Re-Interfaced, the original transaction will stay in the old tax code - and then show a negative for the adjustment entry. The new tax code with display the tax amount for the current bill.

KNOWN WORKAROUND

To change a tax code on an interfaced bill, you need to delete the JB Bill > change the tax code in JC Contract Master > change the tax code in the JB Bill Contract Item > then rebuild the JB Bill and interface it. 

For bills that have already had tax codes changed, user needs to export the Sales Tax Report to Excel and determine the tax amounts.
