Since the advent of KeyStyle for PR timecards, we have to have two pay periods open at one time: one that is being processed (last week's time) and one for entry of the current week's time. Because the 'Post Auto Earnings' and 'Salary Distribution' functions are batch processes, they will auto-pick the oldest open batch. This results in - if we are not careful - posting Auto Earnings for the previous week into the current week's KeyStyle batch, and posting that batch. We can re-open a new one, but employees cannot see posted time in their current timecard. This is problematic at best.
