There is little to no prospective reporting available out of Vista. On a monthly basis, we report on where we will be at 12/31/17 and 12/31/18 on a job by job basis. Currently, the system allows for some forward-looking capabilities, but they are difficult to use, and it is not clear where they are reported.
I would like a report that shows all Open, Closed, and Pending Jobs, and what impact those jobs will have on our year ending 12/31/2017 and 12/31/2018.
Currently, there is no way to add future/pending jobs that are not yet under contract.
Furthermore, the only place to forecast is in JC Contract Master, on a tab buried at the back. This is not easy or intuitive, and I am unclear which reports use this information once entered.
An ideal situation would have a form just like "JC Override Projections", but it would include:
If a Controller could update all of their critical financial information in one screen, it would be a monumental success for Vista and a huge step in the right direction.

I couldn't agree more. This is a feature that should be in Vista already. We rely heavily on forecasting and would really like to have it integrated in the program as opposed to using excel.
