Vista has developed a partnership with Deluxe in utilizing eChecks. Currently there is a 1 to 1 relationship as in (1 Cash Management to 1 GL Account). eChecks have their own numbering system, yet are still part of the main general operating cash account. Since this is a one (CM)to one(GL) vrs a many (CM) to one (GL) - we are constantly making adjusting entries to our cash. This is very cumbersome process, and creates issues with reconciling the main operating account. Industry is pushing to the eCheck functionality.
