Scheduled Asset & Liability General Ledger Account

I would like to have the ability to "schedule" balance sheet accounts. These schedules would be to the GL account as phases are to jobs. The ability to schedule under one account number would allow better tracking for month over month transactions that need to be isolated or identified by a specific control number. I am being told that VISTA cannot do this and the only work around is to create additional subaccounts. I do not want to create accounts for this as these items are temporary over a few months.

  sounds almost like having a sub "ledger" for each G/L account, would be handy so you don't have to have excel to track detail in balance sheet accounts. we do this for some EE items via a UD field and linking to PR EE #
