Coming Soon: On April 2nd, all Suggestion Boxes will be migrating to The Network, Trimble's online user community. Your posts, votes, comments, and user accounts will transfer. This site will become read-only after the migration, and this banner will have a link to the new location for Vista suggestions.

Reporting on Variance (Actual-Estimate) versus Over/Under (Estimate-Actual) - inconsistent use of negatives

In budget performance reporting we would normally see a saving of actual over estimate indicated as a negative - like those presented as Under/Overs on other reports, rather than being shown as positive amounts like is being shown in the PM Contract Analysis Drilldown Variance columns.

Suggest sticking with either using the Under/Overs field (Estimated-Actual) or the Variance field (Actual-Estimate) would create less confusion when working between the different reports (ie .PM Contract Analysis Drilldown versus JC Projections).
