In PM Subcontract Detail it only lists the PHASE number but does NOT show any description of the phase, OR what contract item it is tagged to. How are we supposed to create subcontracts simply by looking at a phase number alone when there may be 100+ subcontractor phase codes?? We can't.
To work around this, a manager has to open PM Project Phases, search for the contract item to which a subcontract is tied to, physically write down the PHASE that falls under that contract item, and go back to PM Subcontract Detail to search for that phase and selet for a sub. At a minimum, the phase DESCRIPTION should be in PM Subcontract Detail so then ONE screen shows all the info you need; and even better it should list what CONTRACT ITEM the phase is linked to.
