There are several forms to enter an employee’s email address such as HR Resource Master, PR Employees, VA User Profile, etc. It would be great if there was one place to go for the email addresses so they wouldn’t need to be entered multiple times to help reduce error in re-entering in different programs and so that with any third-party software it would be one place to know to go for the email address.

Gary, is there an update on the global contact list concept?
A related thought: The HR Management Portal will default to the email specified in the employee's Vista account, if they have one, then go to the PR Email address. Now that we know this, it's not a real problem, however, it would be nice to have the portal pull the email address from one place only.
Also, people often have multiple email addresses (ie work, personal) that should be used for different purposes. For example, a PO approval workflow would use the work address, but check stubs from PR should use the personal address.
PR and HR email address will sync automatically so there should be no need to update an employee's info in both places.
VA User Profile does not auto sync with PR or HR and something we will review.
Longer term the intent is to provide a global contact list where an individual's general info would be added and maintained - additional PR and HR specific info would be secured with limited access but available via a central location.
