For example, if it is known that an employee's craft class changes on a certain date, the new craft class can be set and activated on that specific date. This can be done in a similar fashion as rate updates in craft/class setups.

Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.
Have you tried using the VA Scheduled Changes option. If you right-click on the Class field (or any other), you will see an option in the list for "Scheduled Changes". You can add an effective date and a new value and the record will be updated that day. Just remember that any timecard entries may need to be updated if they were already entered with time on or after the effective date.
