Expand the field size of all the control forms to a minimum of 10 characters, make them alpha numeric, if that form typically has more than 10 entities set up underneath it.

Some examples.

VA Security Groups allow 7 characters, make 10 and alphanumeric.

HQ Reviewers allows 4 alphanumeric characters, make it 10. There are several others that would be nice to have expanded, but I can't remember what they are right now.

We have have about 300 Vista users, and our turnover is industry average. We have been on Vista for 14+ years, and are starting to run out of room on some of these coding things. Repurposing old codes for new use wrecks the history of that old code.

Basically it would be fields that are open ended for our use, so not all short fields need to be lengthened to 10 characters. There are only so many statuses one can assign to an RFI or Submittal, so those lengths are just fine.
