I would love to have a setting where I can input all of the cost types we use and be able to apply it to all of our phase codes with one click instead of having to go into each phase code individually and add them in JC Phases. We have over 1900 phase codes right now, so trying to go back through and manually enter all of the cost types we may need is a monumental task. Our accountant informed us that she would like us to be sure cost type "7" is in each phase code because she's been using that cost type a lot lately. That's fine for new phases, but having to go through and add it to the existing ones has been very inefficient. If all of our cost types could auto populate when I select "initialize cost types" that would be AMAZING!

The woman who tried helping me over the phone talked about this as well, but so many of our jobs are so different that I don't even know how I would go about making a usable template. It's very possible I'm just not understanding it properly, or maybe what you're talking about is a different thing than what she mentioned completely. But some of our jobs have 3 or 4 phase codes while others have 100+, and we aren't for sure going to use any of them every time.
Have you tried using an import template?
