Year after year, our first paycheck or two of the year has to be processed at old/prior year federal withholding tables, despite the IRS releasing their final official withholding guides for the new year in early-mid December. This usually gives Viewpoint around 3 weeks to update the federal withholding tables for the new year tax update. We have employees get frustrated with us for their new withholdings not taking effect right away and there's nothing we can do but wait on Viewpoint to have these ready.
