It would be useful if Vista sent one email to everyone on the distribution list, that way, each person could see that the other person did receive the email, and the sender would only get one copy.

We recently had a General Contractor get angry with us because of this. Person A asked that we add Person B to emails for approving submittals. First we added the 2nd person (Person B) to the CC line and sent it out. Person A said that wasn't what he wanted. He wanted himself and Person B in the TO line of the email. So we tried again. We added them both to the TO line and sent it out a 3rd time. Since Vista doesn't work like Outlook or every other mail application, Person A and Person B each got SEPARATE emails with no way of knowing that the other person also got it. Vista treats multiple people in the TO line as if they are in a BCC line. Person A then contacted us again and was angry that we still hadn't added person B to the email...
As a result, we now cannot use Vista to email submittals for this job.
PLEASE work on this suggestion. Vista should not change the basic principle of how TO, CC and BCC lines work for emailing.
