Will save time if users can print from the Attachment form rather than opening the attachment and then print it. Add the button next to Add, Edit and View buttons. This would say, "Print Selected" and immediately print the selected document(s) in the record.

I think if it behaves the same as the other buttons, i.e. will only print the selected or first selected document then it will already be an advantage. If it however can print all the selected documents then that will be even better.

Are you envisioning having the button print more than one document at a time using that button. In other words, say 10 docs are attached, the button would print all 10 immediately?
Hi,
Yes, there is the risk for users doing printing the wrong document but the impact will be minimal. The big upside is that it will save time if the user need to print the documents attached to the record.

thanks Jas! I was thinking about this: normally document storage systems don't allow you to print the document without first viewing it. the idea being that the user might accidentally print unwanted documents more frequently. What are your thoughts on that risk?

Please see below – a print button in the Attachment form, next to the Add, Edit and View buttons. This will allow the users to print the selected attachment without opening it first.
