It would be REALLY handy to be able to setup each "Agreement Type" with a default RATE TEMPLATE and PRICE. Is there an "Agreement Template" area somewhere, or we the only company with a library of agreements we can setup for customers? :-)

My attempted workaround

• Add custom "Rate Template" and "Price" fields to SM Agreements Types.
• Add Validation Procedure to SM Agreements : Agreement Type to pull in those values from the custom fields and push them into the "Rate Template" and "Agreement Price" fields in SM Agreements.

Problem with workaround

Viewpoint's VALIDATION PROCEDURES for SM Agreement form fields do not work properly: IE, in most other forms you can "push" data from a validation procedure to some other empty field. This is quite handy for pre-filling defaults based on some selected value. But for some reason in the SM Agreements form, that does not work, and the target fields remain blank (Rate Template and Agreement Price).  **sigh**

Viewpoint, you have some fantastic programmers and a great platform, but you are shooting yourself in the foot when there is inconsistency in the way the forms work. Please consider enabling us to use validation procedures in SM Agreements the same way we can throughout most of the forms. OR, add some kind of "Agreement Library", or just add DEFAULT fields into SM Agreement Type and have them pull into SM Agreements when that type is selected.
