We normally have non prevailing wage jobs; however, when we do have a prevailing wage job that requires OT for Saturday and Sunday work regardless if the employee has worked 40 hours, the W-Weekly overtime method set up in the employee master and PR Pay Period Control will not calculate OT correctly.
We set up a new overtime schedule in PR OT Schedule and had it assigned to the job in JC Job Master, PR Info tab - but it will not calculate overtime correctly unless for each individual employee working on the prevailing wage job has their employee master changed to a job overtime method. This fix would eliminate the need to remember for each employee on the job to change their employee master to a J-Job overtime method and then change it back to W-Weekly at the end of each prevailing wage job.
Currently, its lots of extra time spent changing and unchanging and potential overtime calculation errors! Just a matter of having the OT schedule in the job master overriding the PR Pay Period Control method and if no overtime schedule is assigned to the job, then using the W-Weekly overtime method in the PR Pay Period Control - with no changes to the employee master.
