Should have the ability to build user dependent dashboards from templates that Query SQL for real time information relevant to independent users. CFO - to see financials, PM - to see all project related information; cost, revenue, hours, billed and not billed, and percent complete. You shouldn't need to run multiple reports every time you want to know how a jobs is doing. Most other software programs have some feature set that comes standard in their software package. Vista needs to become a lot more user friendly. Using this product is like taking a chisel to a stone tablet.

Thank you for the suggestion but I not looking for another reporting tool. I am asking for real time data. Some kind of dashboard designer that allows me to create the splash page that a user lands on when they first login. This main page would be an overview of say a project managers jobs he or she oversees showing current real time data. Then they should have the option to drill down into the different aspects of any job listed to see where cost or coming from all the way down to the time entered by any employee who has logged time to the job. I shouldn't have to go to 5 different places to run 5 different report to track performance of projects. At the same time pay to get tons of custom reports created to try and see all information I deem viable combined down to one or two reports. Reports are for auditors, viewing data in real time is production.
This is possible. Consider developing a SSRS report that gives the dashboard data you are looking for. I recently assisted a client develop a PM Flash report that produces the data they requested in an SSRS report and is available to assign to a Work Center Tab in Vista, a Report in the Keystyle Portal, and available outside of Vista via the SSRS web link.
