The feature we have to put a scope on hold is insufficient. We need ways to put entire WO's on hold as well and need a more robust system to report on items when on-hold and gain visibility to them. Something that allows us to classify custom reason codes to apply to a hold, features to report on items on hold, ways to apply a hold to an entire WO and not just a scope but still retain the ability to put certain scopes on hold, pop ups to tell users creating new WOs via WO form or Call Handler that other WOs are on hold for some reason.
Use cases:
1 - Work is done and we are waiting on a PO. If customer is withholding PO on one WO or scope and then requests another service I want to see the list of work on-hold so we can decide how to handle new request.
2 - Work may or may not be started but there are delays on the customer's site. We need to classify and put term date on hold so we get reminders to follow up but also have a way to set an end date to this process so we can invoice for contracted services when issues are not a result of anything we did
Customers try all sorts of funky things to try and deffer their invoices. We need eyes on this so we can monitor, anticipate and report on it for repeat offenders.
