Dear Viewpoint Suggestion Box contributor;
We at Viewpoint sincerely thank you for your contribution to Suggestion Box on how we can improve Viewpoint products. While we can’t do everything at once, we rely upon your feedback to help guide the prioritization of our product improvements, and Suggestion Box is a critical tool for us to understand and prioritize our customers’ needs.
Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.

The Override does not work as is. We use Keystyle and employees upload and change their withholdings there. First they do not have an option to choose the override or mark exempt. The only option is for them to is 99 to identify. Also because they are changing in the portal we are having too many issues where they change it and it is approved but the override does not get updated. If this is the only option then the override info should be in PR / HR filing status so that we only need to go to one place to view/change the set up. Right now we have to go to HR/PR and then also go check PR Ded/Liab for everyone to make sure their override is not on. But either way the employee should also be able to have an option to choose exempt in the portal.
Exempt status from the W4 is recorded and tracked via HR (Keystyle)) web extension, but Vista does not have an explicit 'exempt' field for employees. Payroll needs to know which deductions are affected and we instruct these employees be setup with an override to their calculated deduction amount of 0.00 - this should be set for Federal and any State tax deductions that may apply
I vote for adding the Exempt status. We have about 20 employees and it will create less room for error in payroll when renewal comes in Feb.
