Currently when a large batch process is kicked off, the Vista client is depending on the completion of processing of that batch in order for the end user to proceed with other activities. Instead, the Vista client app should spin up a background thread for the batch process, allowing status to be updated in the background while the client is still available to proceed with other workflows.
An Example of this is clicking the "Process" button on the SM Generate PM Work Orders form.
