It's impossible to get a list of active users or active users in each security group etc as it includes deactivated users. This should be by default.

Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.
I agree on the reports, but this should also be available on the forms. For example, you could just add the "Deactivated Date" to the "users" tab grid on the VA Security Group form. That way, you can still show all users, but we really only care about the active ones, so we can filter or sort by that date to get what we need.
