Why is it useful: Because there is no way that I know of to throw a subtotal discount onto an invoice, except through the customer/payterms. Most of the other software I've run into has the ability to add a subtotal and discount onto an invoice, quickly. Unless I'm missing something, seems like SM Invoicing is really lacking in this area.
Who would it benefit: Seems like everyone who uses SM to bill SM customers with a discount would benefit from this.
How would it work: Near "Disc Date" would be a "Discount" field, wherein the user could type in the discount percentage OR flat rate.
OR perhaps there could be a 'Add Subtotal Discount' button on the lower half of the window that would add a line wherein the user could type in the discount percentage, or flat dollar amount?
Bonus Points: If we could specify this to DEFAULT IN if billing for sites that have an active agreement, and the agreement has these discount settings in it. (No, we are not talking about using the RATE TEMPLATE, as only one rate template can be used at a time, and we want this to apply no matter what rate template is used, from agreement or site)
