On the advice of the Vista help line, a few years ago, we broke out our single SQL server into instances, one instance for PROD and one instance for TEST. Unfortunately, while this appears to be a Viewpoint supported configuration, the install guides do not cover that scenario. Can we fix that?

Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.
The install steps are the same for both environments. Change the server names during install as needed. Please see our migration article if you are looking for steps on migrating the data in Production to the Test environment.
