When using RAISERROR in a SQL trigger to prompt an error message, the message is not displayed through VRL. A generic "Error saving the record" appears while the real error message returned from the trigger is populated in DDAL. We either need the RAISERROR message passed through VRL, or for custom validation through Vista refined.

Understood and agree - we'll look to surface the full error message
The only way to see detailed error messages is to query the vDDAL table in SQL. This is not conducive to productivity as users can't see what they need to be able to do their work.
