We don't run Payroll through Vista but require to setup a PR Employee record for Vista Portal access. We want to limit the amount of places we have employee SSN/SIN information. There is no requirement for us to have this information in Vista other than the fact that the program requires it. Would like to be able to reduce the risk of this confidential information being breached.

I agree. Also if you put sub contractors in Employee so they can be technicians for scheduling, we wouldn't have this information. We also use a third party system and have to set them up in Vista before they are fully onboarded and setup in the payroll system which means we have to generate a bogus SSN/SIN to get them entered.
