The EEO-1 Report will need to be modified to meet the new EEO requirements of disclosing pay and gender on EE0-1 reports from 2017 moving forward. They are calling this information Component 2 data, but it will be standard issue with all EEO-1 reports going forward. They will be asking for 2017 and 2018 W-2 data as the data corresponds to pay bands for various job categories. This is being implemented to give the EEO a first hand look at gender bias and pay discrimination.
Please plan to update this report. The EEOC help desk will be fully operational on 6/17/19. They will begin to collect the data by mid-July 2019. The portal to report this data will be https://eeocomp2.norc.org.

Valerie, I noticed the same thing when I ran my reports. There is no way for me to pick up the detail for our mechanics or office employees because they are not tied to a job.
Yes, I do see the hours on page 2, however, the exclusion of hours for anyone who has not charged to a job (portions of an Admin or Mgr time, mechanics, etc) are not included in these hours. Also, the fields are too narrow to report our hours which exceed 1M (even excluding the non-job hours). Going forward, the report will need to be inclusive of all hours, not just job hours.
Hours used to appear under the counts... now they're on a separate page, after all the count groups... go to the final pages of the report to see the hours
Hours? We are able to run the report and generate the salary bands, but it is not generating an hours report as well. Is there a way to generate hours report without defining it by job/region?
The updated EEO-1 report and separate export for eFiling component 2 pay data were just released - downloadable from Clearview in the 6.17.23 and 6.18.13 SPs depending on your current release. Apologies for the delay.
For other companies that have hired an outside company to build a custom report, would you be willing to share which company you used and their contact info? My email - srathborne@r-o.com.
QA found a few issues with the report and efile - Dev working to correct today. This will likely to delay the SPs by a few days - will keep you posted.
Where are we with this? Was this released today?
Where are we with this? Is it being released today?
The new update provides Work Hours of Employment when running the report by Job or Region. Are there plans to report Work Hours by Company?
Development of an updated EEO-1 report w/Component 2 (pay) data and eFile is complete and in QA. Targeted for a 6.17 and 6.18 Service Pack release on 9/19
We got tired of waiting and went to an independent programmer. They made the EEO-1 report with the component 2 data in under three hours and made it so that it exports to a CSV report that loaded into the Federal website electronically. I'm not sure what the hold up is for VISTA to do the same? But our IT manager will be talking to VISTA about back charging for the cost.
Is there any update on the release for this? I am being hounded by HR to get this info, and I surely don't have the time/resources to try to manually mine this information. Please update on release date
Do we have an ETA on this release?!
The deadline for us to file is 9/30/19. We need this in advance to run, test and verify our numbers. That is about a month out. Can you post an update on where this is at?
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is this modified report ready and up in Vista?
We are aware of the change to EEO-1 reporting and targeting development of a query to provide component 2 (pay data) - hours worked and W-2 Box 1 wages broken out by employee and job classification
