The Posting process often takes a few minutes for larger sets of data. Seeing as how OTHER people can continue to use Vista while this is happening, why can't the same user ALSO use Vista while this is happening?
As I understand it, the actual processing (SQL code) is happening on the server anyway, not really on the client, so why punish the user's client by locking it up?
Can clients have multiple threads on the server? If so, could that be used to give the client access to the rest of Vista while the other thread is busy posting?
